Description
|
We are seeking a
Qualified Social worker to fill a senior practitioners position
on a children’s and family’s team in North West London. To
ensure that assessments carried out by the team take full
account of all available information from children, their
families, schools, children’s centres, GPs, health visitors and
all others involved.

To attend case
conferences, ‘Children Looked After’ Reviews, the Adoption
and Fostering Panel, Planning Meetings and any other such
forum, as required.

To assess
potential adopters and produce high quality reports to be
presented to the adoption and fostering panels.

Take the
lead in placement meetings/introductions and ensure that
placements are adequately approved.

To
provide advice, consultation, support members of staff
within the team.

To ensure that
there is effective communication to and within the team and
that staff views are conveyed up the management structure,
as appropriate.

To work with
the Team Manager and Deputy Team manager in ensuring that
the team has clear objectives and targets, that progress is
monitored and that staff are motivated to play their part in
achieving these objectives and targets.
