Registration Requirements:

In order to practice as a registered general nurse in the United Kingdom: you will need to be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC)

This process should be commenced at least 6 – 8 months before planning to come to the UK. We strongly recommend that you do not travel to the UK until you have your NMC Statement of Entry, (confirmation of your registration) and your PIN card.

All non-EEA nationals must complete the NMC Overseas Nurses Programme.
